ChaletGuard Monitoring Subscriptions
Monthly Plans ($59/month)
- Cancel anytime — no cancellation fees, no penalties
- Your subscription remains active until the end of your current billing period
- No refund for the current billing period once it has started
- Monitoring continues until the end of your paid period
Annual Plans ($637/year)
- Cancel anytime — no cancellation fees
- If you cancel within the first 30 days: full refund minus a $59 pro-rated monthly fee for time used
- After 30 days: no refund for the remaining annual term, but your service continues until the end of the paid year
- Annual plans include waived installation ($599 value) — if you cancel within 90 days, the installation fee becomes payable
Sensor Equipment
- Sensors installed at your property are yours to keep, regardless of cancellation
- We do not remove or reclaim equipment after cancellation
- Without an active subscription, sensors will continue to collect data locally but will not transmit alerts or reports
Installation Fee ($599)
- The one-time installation fee is non-refundable once installation is complete
- If installation has not yet been scheduled, you may request a full refund of the installation fee
- Installation is waived on 12-month annual plans (see annual cancellation terms above)
Cottage Maintenance & Season Turn Services
- Before service is performed: full refund if cancelled 48+ hours before the scheduled visit
- Less than 48 hours notice: 50% cancellation fee applies
- After service is performed: no refund, but if you're unsatisfied, contact us and we'll make it right
How to Cancel
You can cancel your subscription or service at any time by:
We process cancellation requests within 1 business day. You'll receive a confirmation email once your cancellation is processed.
Refund Processing
- Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method
- Please allow 5–10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement
- Refunds are issued in Canadian Dollars (CAD)
Satisfaction Guarantee
We stand behind our work. If you're not satisfied with the quality of any service we've performed, contact us within 7 days and we'll either re-do the work or issue a credit to your account. We want you to be confident in every visit.
